Come, feel the rains!
I came across this pic and it reminded me of the Saturday rains ! Come experience the rains (though virtually- esp those can't enjoy the real thing)!
its always nice to know that its raining somewhere,where does ur part of mumbai get its drinking water from. it seems rain water harvesting is thought of only when the situation turns bleak,not when they are in plenty.does ur building have a rain water harvesting system. u probably didnt get to see any movies this weekend.
Nopes, no movies! And man... its only recently that I've seen some handful movies within a short span of 4-5 months (that too not many- a movie a month is many for me!). Otherwise I used to watch hardly 2 movies in six months or so (hardly used to give time to myself) As for rain water, we harvest it in the morning and utilise it full day! (Ha ha) C'mon yaar, why are u giving me this raag on harvesting? All bldgs collect water released from BMC in bldg water tank, which is then released at a fixed hour to households. Every house has a water tank. Water is collected there and utilised whole day thru taps! Mumbai and neighbouring areas get water from the lakes... Tulsi, Vihar, Vaitarna and the likes! (forgotten the names I learnt in school!)
mumbais water supply is met by a few lakes! thats amazing,chennais got a perennial water problem. by rwh,i meant recharging the groundwater table. its still not rained in bangalore,but the weather is turning cold,as it is always in blore. did u check out hr? the review in the new indian express was great.
Hi Sam! I do know little bit about RWH... I was joking about! Wat meant was - apun kya kar sakta hai, yaar! Wats HR? I tried to decipher it but failed... Pls enlighten me!
